Now in a richer navy and mid blue colorway, the Babolat Pure Drive 2021 is an updated version of its predecessor geared toward all court players and baseline hitters seeking a combination of control and power.
Babolat's engineers have incorporated the new HTR Sytem, giving the frame increased torsional rigidity to enhance responsiveness at ball impact. Players will find increased dampening of vibration via their SWX Pure Feel, a visco elastic rubber laid in between the layers of carbon in the racquet shaft.Technologies carried over from the prior version include Frame String Interaction to raise the sweet spot and tighten the spaces between the upper cross strings for a more responsive contact zone.
Pure Drive enthusiasts will be able to make the transition to this new model with ease, since the overall specifications remain the same. With some improvements "under the hood" in terms of feel, this racquet will continue to be a best seller in the Babolat family of racquets.
