The Babolat Pure Drive Lite 2021 features a rich, new navy and mid blue colorway and is an updated version of its predecessor geared toward improving players seeking a super easy-swinging racquet.
Babolat’s engineers have incorporated the new HTR Sytem, giving the frame increased torsional rigidity to enhance responsiveness at ball impact. Players will find increased dampening of vibration via their SWX Pure Feel, a visco elastic rubber laid in between the layers of carbon in the racquet shaft. Technologies carried over from the prior version include Frame String Interaction to raise the sweet spot and tighten the spaces between the upper cross strings for a more responsive contact zone.
The Pure Drive Lite is the lightest of the 100 square inch head size models in the Pure Drive lineup.
Pure Drive enthusiasts will be able to make the transition to this new model with ease, since the overall specifications remain the same. With some improvements “under the hood” in terms of feel, this racquet will continue to be a best seller in the Babolat family of racquets.
