Product Overview

The Ektelon Original Rubber Grip is our all time best selling rubber grip from the past and the thinnest rubber grip on the market.

Preferred by players seeking a small feel in the hand (since most rubber grips add significant size), this thin, textured rubber grip offers both tremendous traction and superb handle feel. This is the thinnest rubber grip available. It also features a unique flared end which can be left on for those who hold their grip up higher, or easily trimmed off for those who hold their grip down low, mid-palm style.

How to Trim the Flare Off:

To install this on your racquet without the flare, simply squeeze the grip flat and use scissors to trim across the grip using the lines as a guide. Once trimmed off, install as normal and the bottom of the grip will follow the rounded curve of the butt of your racquet handle.

Details of the Ektelon Original Rubber Grip

Type: Slip-on grip
Surface: Raised triangular pattern
Color: Black and other colors as shown
Install notes: easy to install as it is a much softer compound than a Python, etc.
Other: No warranty (even if it splits during home installation)

**Note: these grips no longer include glue for installation.  We recommend gasket sealing glue, WD-40 or hair spray for grip installation.

    Racquetball Grip

The grip works great, but the applicator glue was dried up in every tube. WD-40 worked fine.

Really like the grip, but not the ridge at the bottom. There is a line where you can trim it off which makes it curve smooth in the shape of the handle. I like the bright colors.

Closest thing to the old Gexco grip. If you like a really small handle in your hand and want a rubber grip this is it. Even tho it is thin it lasts well and is tacky, not slippery rubber.
