Use it to customize your pickleball paddle or racquet, adding as much or as little weight as you want. Lead tape can be used to alter the racquet's inherent balance by adding it to the handle, head or anywhere in between.
For customizing tennis racquets, lead tape is typically adhered to the INSIDE of the racquet's head, or beneath the grip tape on the very base of the handle. When we customize your racquet and weight it / balance it for you, we start by asking what it is you are seeking from your racquet that you do not presently have. This helps guide us with where to place the weight on your frame.
For customizing pickleball paddles, the process is a bit different, in that the tape must be laid on the outside perimeter of the paddle. For pickleball paddles with bumper guards, this means you'll be adhering the lead tape directly onto the bumper guard. For bumperless paddles, the application method depends on the thickness of the core and the best way to situate the tape for a proper, flush fit.
