The Master Athletics M1 OVAL V3 features a new, gold on black colorway. Also updated is the "grit field" on the paddle face, which now showcases a uniform sized grit across the playing surface (M30)
This paddle features 62 oval holes that cover most of the paddle's face to offer more spin potential. While the oblong holes are slightly shorter in length than those on the original M1 Oval, having more of them results in a slightly lower swing weight, making the V3 just a hare more maneuverable.
With the same low density core as the other M1 paddles in the line, the M1 V3 provides a shock absorbing feel for comfort and ball control. At just 12.7 ounces, this remains an easy swinging paddle for players who favor maneuverability over head-heavy mass.
Customize it to make it your own!
The EDGE Tuning Kit (sold separately), allows the option of applying either weighted or dampening strips to a depressed ridge on the "Edge" of the paddle, giving you ultimate flexibility to customize your game. This allows you to make your paddle heavier and more stable, or more dampened, to reduce vibrations and provide a smoother feel. An optional weighted butt cap allows you further customization.
