The Head Radical 170 racquetball racquet for 2025 features the same advanced technologies as its predecessors, now with the addition of Graphene in more areas of the frame's perimeter for added stability and power.
Graphene is one of the world’s strongest and lightest materials used in a variety of applications. Graphene 360+ technology features a combination of Graphene 360's energy transfer and innovative spiralfibers for an enhanced flex and clean impact feel. In addition, it comes with HEAD's Inner Grommet System for optimal stiffness and a solid feel.
Longer main strings were created by integrating molded tubes in the throat of the racquet. These Power Channels™ increase the stiffness in the throat for an incredible amount of raw power. With HEAD's adaptive fan pattern (AFP) you get a choice of either the factory string pattern (16x16) or a more open string pattern for less head weight and added bite on the ball.
This is the 170 gram Radical with a head light balance for maximum maneuverability. This model is recommended for players with medium to fast wrist snaps and well-established technique.
