Now in a softer blue colorway, the Pure Drive Gen11 is an updated version of its predecessor geared toward all court players and baseline hitters seeking a combination of control and power.
Babolat's engineers have incorporated FLAX Tape 2.0 in the shaft. Composed of unidirectionally aligned natural fibers, Flax 2.0 filters vibrations for a better feel and increased comfort. Technologies carried over from the prior version include Frame String Interaction to raise the sweet spot and tighten the spaces between the upper cross strings for a more responsive contact zone.
Pure Drive enthusiasts will be able to make the transition to this new model with ease, since the overall specifications remain the same. With some improvements "under the hood" in terms of feel, this racquet will continue to be a best seller in the Babolat family of racquets.
