The HEAD Gravity SH pickleball paddle features a LARGE head shape that is broader at the top for a large, easy-to-find sweet spot and a 4-1/4 inch, SHORTER HANDLE for players who like to hold the butt of the handle up on the fleshy part of their palm for improved ease of wrist snap.
We like that the 2023 Gravity series features a new, gritty, "sand-paper feeling" surface, as opposed to the raised bumpy (but still slick) surface of the original. This is closer in feel to many of the raw carbon faces on the market today which help grab the ball and enhance spin action.
Especially popular with players who play a wristy game and like the snap the paddle head. This allows a large sweet spot and feel more like a racquetball swing. HEAD designed this paddle with their Hybrid Hitting Surface, a combination of graphite and composite fibers to create a responsive result delivering power, control, spin and stability. Also notable for the Gravity Paddles is the thicker poly core, for quiet, soft, comfortable play.
